This saree is printed and finished at our studio in Bangalore, India. A design is drawn out and then set onto the cloth through a specialist digital print route — the same route on every length we make. Here, a teal floral body opens into a pallu of bold geometric diamond bands, so the drape carries two moods in one length. Because the design is printed digitally rather than left to chance, what was drawn is what lands on the drape: the teal holds its tone and the repeat stays even from the first pleat to the pallu. This is one expression of a wide and growing range of shades and prints — each piece a single, chosen colourway rather than one of a fixed lot.

The design
A teal, turquoise and dark blue floral runs across the body and opens into a wide pallu of white diamond-grid and wavy linear bands, so the drape carries two distinct moods in one length. Every length is printed the same way, so the colour and repeat stay consistent.
On the body
At 50 GSM the fabric is light and opaque, draping cleanly with no sheerness. A jewel-toned teal carries a daytime celebration and still works for a regular day out.

Before you wear it
It arrives as an unstitched drape, which leaves the finishing to you: add the fall and pico, and have the 80 cm blouse piece stitched to your own measurements before the first wear. Finishing it yourself means the fit is yours from the first drape.
Care
Dry clean it before the first wash to set the print and the colour. After that, a gentle cold hand wash with a soft detergent is fine. Do not machine wash and do not wring it.
Dry it flat or hung in the shade without folding, and iron it inside out on low to medium heat under a cotton press cloth.
Colour hues may vary slightly from the images because of different screens and displays, so the shade you receive may read slightly different from the photograph.
