Pithani ia embroidery that originated in the Paithan town in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. Paithani is characterised by borders of an oblique square design, and a padar with a peacock design. Plain as well as spotted designs are available. Kota Doria cotton fabric is a lightweight, sheer textile originating from Kota, Rajasthan, India. It is woven on traditional pit looms using a blend of cotton and silk yarns, known for its airy texture, fine checkered patterns, and delicate drape, making it ideal for warm weather clothing like sarees and scarves.
