The print

This piece carries a repeating print of geometric, leaf-like shapes in dark blue and tan, with dark grey picking out the detail. It's digitally printed through a specialist converter in Bangalore, with the same print route on every piece, so the colour and the repeat stay consistent from the drape to the pallu. Colour hues may vary slightly from the images because of different screens and displays.

The drape

The cloth is soft and smooth with a fluid, lightweight fall — a measured 50 GSM at 425 g in total, opaque. It runs 6.2–6.3 m in total at 44–45 inches wide: a 5.5 m drape plus an 80 cm running blouse piece in the same width, included.

It ships as an unstitched drape, which is also the form that keeps it eligible for return or exchange — so you can open it, check the colour in daylight, and only then separate the 80 cm blouse piece and have the fall and edges finished before the first wear.

Wearing it

Deep blue with tan motifs suits the office, daily wear and daytime events, and the light drape wears comfortably for hours. A full two-stage care routine ships with it, not the usual unexplained 'dry clean only'.
