Kota Cotton is a lightweight, breathable fabric from Kota, Rajasthan, known for its signature checkered weave called *khats*. Made from pure cotton, it is soft, durable, and ideal for hot climates. Widely used in sarees and dupattas, Kota Cotton combines comfort with traditional elegance, making it a versatile textile choice. Kacchi Gota Patti Work is a traditional Rajasthani embroidery technique where unrefined (raw) gota ribbons are hand-stitched onto fabric to create intricate floral and geometric patterns. Unlike regular Gota Patti, Kacchi Gota uses softer, more flexible gota, giving the designs a subtle yet elegant appearance. It is commonly used in sarees, lehengas, and festive attire.
